E3 Roundup

Thank you everyone who stopped by our booth and thank you Indiecade for giving Monstermatic the opportunity to be under the spotlight for 3 consecutive days. We were amazed by the enthusiasm in the conference and the tremendous energy surrounding us.

We had a chance to talk with the Guardian, Forbes, Mashable, the Syfy channel and met with incredible people ranging from licensing managers to publishers and game developers. AND on Tuesday night we participated to the Big Indie Pitch contest which we won along with its $5,000 ad reward.

I do want to point out a few indie games that caught our eyes during the show: And then it rained, an amazingly well designed app with slick graphics and intuitive game mechanic made by 2 hardcore indie developers from Germany. What?!? Oh…, a playful conversational card game that recreates the ‘loving’ banter, and the amazing Bounden, a whimsical dancing game for two players with choreography by the Dutch National Ballet.

We’re looking forward to the new opportunities this amazing conference will lead to. Thanks again to the Indiecade staff for making this event accessible to indie developers.
